• Processing:

  StoneBite^® Scan is designed to be applied intra-orally, directly onto the occlusal surface of teeth.  Due to the high stability the material does not slump or flow.  The material is designed to setup quickly and application should be done in one fluid motion.  Ensure that the bite is brought into the maximum intercuspidation within the given working time of 30 seconds and that the bite remains in occlusion for the working time of 50 seconds.
  
  

  Notes:

  • Due to the filling process, the cartridge should be purged slightly prior to the first use.  After removing the cap, dispense a pea-sized amount of StoneBite^® Scan to ensure that booth sides of the cartridge are flowing properly.
  • Disinfenction can be accomplished with any material approved for use with vinyl polysiloxanes, however EXACTA Dental Direct recommends Opti-Cide³.
  • The polymerization of StoneBite^® Scan can be disrupted by latex, latex powder, or other materials containing sulfer.
